His deep expertise spans natural history, evolution, and environmental management, and he has authored numerous publications in these areas. A qualified dive specialist with a passion for the Galapagos, Antonio brings a wealth of experience and insight.

He has an intricate understanding of the islands’ ecosystems and wildlife, combined with a commitment to sustainable development and environmental education.

What You’ll Learn: Photography Techniques in the Wild

Each photography departure features interactive sessions covering essential techniques like framing, composition, and lighting—perfect for both cameras and phones. You’ll also receive creative guidance on discovering unique perspectives and telling compelling visual stories.

A unique benefit of our photography departures is the chance for early morning and late afternoon activities, allowing you to capture the Galapagos in its most stunning natural light. With a relaxed pace, you’ll have ample time to focus on each shot, ensuring you capture every detail and angle to perfection.

These photography voyages follow the same routes as our regular cruises, making them ideal for anyone keen to explore the Galapagos in-depth. Photography-focused elements are exclusive to one of our three yachts, so please mention your interest when booking.

Thanks to the archipelago’s equatorial location, the Galapagos enjoys pleasant weather year-round. For photography, though, April to May and October to November are particularly stunning months to visit.

Unwind Under the Stars: An Evening of Stargazing

After capturing the breathtaking wildlife and landscapes by day, settle in on our sundeck with a nightcap or herbal tea in hand, watching as the constellations light up the darkened sky. Guided by our expert naturalists, you’ll learn about the southern constellations and explore new celestial perspectives, blending photography skills with a profound appreciation of nature’s beauty. Whether relaxing in the Jacuzzi or meditating under the stars, you’ll have the chance to capture the wonders of the universe in an unforgettable setting.

You can find more information about our stargazing activities here.
