2025 Culinary-Themed Departure: A Journey of Gastronomy and Discovery

Ecoventura is proud to announce its first culinary-themed voyage of 2025, which will take place from January 26 to February 2 on Itinerary A: Beaches & Bays. This exclusive departure will feature Chef Jose Tamayo from the award-winning restaurant at Casa Gangotena (Relais & Châteaux) in Quito.

Chef Tamayo joined the esteemed Casa Gangotena family in February 2021. With 14 years of experience in luxury hotels and fine dining, he began his career at the renowned Alvear Palace Hotel, a Relais & Châteaux property in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Throughout his journey, he has had the privilege of working alongside renowned European chefs, honing modern techniques to craft unique culinary experiences and develop his own signature style.

During this seven-day voyage, guests will experience a variety of exclusive culinary events designed to elevate their understanding and appreciation of Ecuadorian cuisine.

Highlights of the Culinary Experience

Ceviche Masterclass
A highlight of the journey is an exclusive ceviche masterclass hosted by Chef Jose Samaniego. Guests will have the opportunity to watch as he prepares his signature take on Ecuador’s iconic ceviche, using fresh, local ingredients.
