Ecoventura 2009 Global Vision Award – Green Cruising
Ecoventura is the recipient of Travel + Leisure’s fifth annual 2009 Global Vision Award for Green Cruising.
The company is one of 17 winners named in a variety of categories to receive accolades for its trend-setting commitment to sustainable tourism. Global Vision Award winners are featured in the November 2009 issue of Travel + Leisure magazine.

Ecoventura was awarded with the Conde Nast Traveler’s 3rd Annual World Savers Award in the category of Best Overall Cruise Lines. This award recognizes their ongoing mission to be the pacesetter for responsible tourism in the Galapagos Islands. Ecoventura was featured in September 2009 issue of the magazine and noted as exceptional in the areas of education, poverty, preservation and health.

2008 Best in a Marine Environment
Ecoventura has won in the Best in a Marine Environment category at this year’s Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards organized by responsibletravel.com. At a ceremony hosted during World Travel Market (WTM), on November 12, 2008, distinguished judges noted that Ecoventura contributes to scholarships for education and helps local women develop micro-businesses as well as being among the first cruise operators to be independently audited.
